Tullochs Auctions was established in Launceston 36 years ago, with Mr Scott Millen being Director/Proprietor for the past 28 years.
“Being isolated by Bass Strait we have needed to be innovative to attract peoples attention. The innovation of “Colonial Furniture Auctions” in the early 1980′s placed Tasmanian antiques on the map. Our sales in the late 1980′s and into the 1990′s attracted nationwide publicity and prices sky rocketed with Tullochs holding several Australian records”. We continue to conduct bi-annual Special Antique Auctions, specialising in Colonial Furniture – Art – Rare and Collectable Decorative Arts – Books – Georgian Furniture. These auctions are held June/July and October/November each year. Our regular Antique – Collectable auctions are held every 4 weeks on a Wednesday – Selected lots for these sales are also posted on our web site. This webpage is designed to keep you informed as to what is happening at Tulloch’s Auctions and place you at the forefront of the Tasmanian Antique Scene. We value our customers input. If you have questions or suggestions, please contact us.
